David E. Dokken

Member, David E. Dokken joined the firm in 1990 after several years as chief criminal deputy for the Nez Perce County Prosecutor’s office.
Mr. Dokken is licensed to practice in Idaho and Washington. He maintains a practice primarily focused on general civil and criminal litigation. Mr. Dokken’s practice includes complex civil, criminal, and regulatory compliance litigation. In addition to representing individual and corporate clients, Mr. Dokken has served several organizations for the advancement of the LC Valley and the legal system. Mr. Dokken has served on the boards of various civic organizations, including past service as president of the board of the Northwest Children’s Home, the Lewiston Idaho Chamber of Commerce and the Idaho Association of Defense Counsel. He also served from 2010 to 2013 as the Idaho State Representative to the Defense Research Institute.
Mr. Dokken received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Idaho in History in 1979. Mr. Dokken graduated from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1982.
