Blake (Jacobs) Houlihan is an Associate Attorney at Creason, Moore, Dokken and Geidl, PLLC. She joined the firm after completing a judicial clerkship with the Honorable David W. Gratton, Chief Judge of the Idaho Court of Appeals.  Blake accepted this clerkship after graduating summa cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2018 and is licensed to practice law in Idaho and Washington.  Blake currently maintains a general practice that revolves around estate planning, probate, trust creation, elder law, business formation and development, taxation, and guardianships.

While attending Gonzaga University School of Law, Blake demonstrated strong academic credentials and earned CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in eight classes. In addition to her academics, Blake was an Editor on the Gonzaga Journal of International Law and a member of the National Appellate Advocacy Moot Court team.  Blake also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Raymond F. Clary in the Spokane County Superior Court and a prosecuting extern at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Idaho. Prior to law school, Blake played two years of junior college basketball and received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Boise State University in 2014, graduating magna cum laude.

When Blake is not in the office, she enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her husband, Ryan, and their daughter.
